PHAROS Candle Company was founded in the summer of 2020 during the pandemic from a simple idea: fragrance the power to transport us - to memories, places, stories, and emotions. 

While working as an essential worker for a major airline, founder Shelly Bates Achong envisioned a brand inspired by the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria - one of history's greatest symbols of light, guidance, and discovery.

Built from a passion for travel, mythology, ancient civilization, and immersive experiences, PHAROS was created with the vision that not only the company name, but every product name could stand powerfully on its own through a single word - simple, memorable, and immersive.

Today, PHAROS creates handcrafted home fragrances designed to spark curiosity and transform everyday moments into lasting experiences.
